Leading
visionary,
systemic, and
invitational
change
Attending to inequity and mapping out new ways forward is difficult, possible, and necessary. Naming inequity, imaging equity: this is the work that Jennifer engages with colleagues to move into a different future. She brings passion, humour, perspective, and self-reflection to this work. She is an invitational leader, foregrounding questions, increased understanding, and shared interests. She consistently shows up with her head and her heart.
With over 20 years of experience in organizational change and equity in the United States and Canada, Jennifer currently teaches and leads equity and curricular change at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her leadership success draws on multiple senior leadership roles, and on research and practical expertise captured in her books and articles.
